RACE 1 - KALKANLI (3) won well two back, before tackling city class when a plugging sixth at Eagle Farm over 1800m. Nicely placed in this weaker event. MAGADAN (4) backs up quickly after running seventh over 2200m at the Sunshine Coast when fading late. Capable of more. SIR ZINO (6) expecting more out to this trip after running a poor eleventh over 1700m at this track. Can lift sharply in this weaker contest. SMOKIN' DE QUO (8) lightly raced mare with ability. Fitter now after plugging late when fifth over 1700m here on March 16. Capable of turning things around.

RACE 2 - TEELG (6) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1200m at Sunshine Coast when second, beaten a head. Promising type with improvement expected to get through the conditions. LADY ALABAMA (9) well in the market when a poor seventh over 1106m at this track last time following a minor placing on debut the run before. Has the addition of blinkers. Expected to bounce back. KIRRA'S SISTER (14) is a three-year-old filly by Santos on debut for the Jordan Lee yard. Finished off last campaign with a fourth at Warwick six-and-a-half months ago. Ran fourth in a trial at Grafton over 955m and looks nicely placed. Can take a hand in the finish. CASTLE OF CARDS (12) snagged back from the gate and never in contention last time over 1015m at this track when she finished fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths. Improver.

RACE 3 - VIALE (6) lightly raced filly with ability, resuming. Up in grade when a plodding sixth over 1110m at Doomben on October 26. Returns with a solid 940m trial placing and gets in light with the claim. Goes close. SOUTH BOAMBEE (12) returns from a three-and-a-half-month break. Had mixed form last time in and normally sprints well fresh. Fitted with the one trial placing and the blinkers go on. Top-three prospect. SEYMOUR STARS (7) resumes. Was a commanding debut winner as fav over 1000m at this track five months ago. Looked strong when a recent 940m trial winner and can continue where she left off last time in. Goes close. DEEP STEALTH (9) improving filly with her hoof on the till. Loomed strongly when third over 1000m at this track at second race start. Conditions suit and senior rider engaged.

RACE 4 - OLIVERSHARE (1) resumes from a lengthy break. Heavily supported on debut when sixth over 1006m at this track last November. Scored a strong 1050m trial win at the Gold Coast and looks primed for this. HOMELAND (2) two runs back have been excellent and gets conditions to suit. Ran on late in the heavy (8) going when second over 1106m at this track. On the quick backup and can play a leading role again. GEOFF AND JENNY (12) fitter after two runs back and the tongue-tie goes on for this. Chipped away late when fifth over 1100m here at latest. Gets map favours and stays in the mix. RAINBOW LASS (6) beaten for early speed and never looked a winning prospect when a disappointing seventh over 1100m at this track. Assess on earlier efforts.

RACE 5 - DOWN UNDER STUNNAH (9) improving with racing and like the way she attacked the line from the wide draw when fourth over 1700m at Ipswich. Nicely placed from the good gate to get the prize. BRAIN WAVE (11) fitter now and will find this more to her liking. Just under a month between runs when a poor twelfth over 1600m at Eagle Farm. Sharp improver. O'CALDINO (3) up in trip and far from disgraced at his second run back when a plugging fourth over 1600m at the Sunshine Coast. Handles the conditions and is expected to take a hand in the finish. FOO FIGHTER (7) up in class when going out hard before fading to run eighth over 1600m at Eagle Farm. Tongue-tie goes on and look for a better effort with the 3kg claimer engaged.

RACE 6 - COWGIRL LILLY (19) tough old mare who bounced back to form in the heavy going when third over 1610m at this track. Well drawn again and has an okay record on her home track. TOOTSIE (11) back in grade and assess on earlier efforts in the soft going. Just over a month between runs after a tiring ninth in a 1400m contest at Coffs Harbour a month ago. Extra trip in her favour and looks good each way value. SUN TOPAZE (12) bounced off his good second two back with a tough victory over 1700m here at latest. Confidence is high and gets his chance again. HE'S A COPY BOY (4) resumed with an eye-catching second in the heavy (8) going over 1410m at this track. Goes equally as well second up and can race closer from the low draw. The chances don't end there.

RACE 7 - COLLEANO (1) is a four-year-old gelding having his first run for the Matthew Hoysted barn. Resumes after showing ability in seven career starts on the Victorian provincial circuit. Fitted with a solid 1050m trial win and finds a nice race from the good draw. Hard to hold out. ROMAN REBEL (2) disappointed at his last three outings and will relish the big class drop today. Beaten for early speed and failed to make an impact when tenth over 1410m at Lismore in the NRRA Champs on February 22. Kept fresh and capable of lifting here. STILLWELL (8) improving gelding who sprinted well fresh when a sound second over 1200m at Coonamble. Looks well placed to repeat the dose. DAZZLING ROBERT (19) gets in light with the 3kg claim today after running a battling ninth with the 57kg over 1400m at this track. Handles conditions and looks great value.

RACE 8 - THE WOLF (5) well suited in this company and ready to bounce back fifth up. Came out fast from the wide gate and held on well to secure sixth over 1175m at this track on March 16. Gets the gun run from the low gate and has the figures to take this out. PRESSALONG (9) lightly raced mare with a ton of upside who will relish this easier assignment. Big jump in grade and six weeks between runs when a fading tenth over 1200m at the Gold Coast. Anticipating sharp improvement. IMPENDOR (2) smart gelding due for a change of luck. Gets the 3kg claimer today after running on late when third over 1200m at Doomben in C3 company. Handles the conditions and look for him late. DUNE AND DUSTED (8) failed to sprint with them with the big weight when an eye-catching fifth over 1000m here. Well placed this trip and has excellent figures this course and distance.

RACE 9 - KEY LEGEND (8) racing in career best form and has excellent figures on his home track. Launched late from the wide gate with the 61kg when finishing hard for a tough victory over 1420m at this track. Tempo suits again and goes close despite dropping back in distance. IMPERIAL HILTON (3) resumes with a sound first-up record. Raced in stronger company last time in and his best form is in the softish conditions. Back without a trial and must be kept safe. BRAVELY (5) resumes today after placing in Highway company last time in. Undefeated at this track and gets his chance with the two trials and 3kg claimer. Value player. TOROVISTA (7) good wet tracker resuming. Has a handy first up record and not to be underestimated over this shorter trip.
