COACHMAN (2) wasn't too far off them at the latest effort and may earn some minor money. MISHANI AMORE (6) next in line.
RACE 2 - CHARTWELL (3) got the job done around this circuit last time out when heavily supported and is sure to have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Can continue the winning form. BARMERA (1) has a handy record here with a win and four seconds from just six starts and rarely puts in a poor one. Best figures measure up. BETTER THAN WORDS (4) didn't feature in much stronger company at the latest effort but the form prior was good enough to play a role in a race like this. Worth another chance. HANGIN' AROUND (2) has placed two from two over this course and distance and will be at peak fitness now from the inside alley. Don't discount lightly. TIME TO PROPHET (5) rounds out the selections.
RACE 3 - STADIUM OF LIGHT (2) has placed two from two around this circuit and should be ready to peak now third-up from the break. Cormack sticks in the irons following that last-start placing and looks ready for the step-up to the mile now. Will prove tough to hold out. READ 'EM AND WEEP (5) has been in the mix in recent efforts and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Can feature in the outcome. CONVERTOR (6) doesn't win out of turn but has been thereabouts in recent runs and may earn some minor money. BETTA AL (4) best of the rest on the back of a last-start victory here.
RACE 4 - UNDER THE LIMIT (5) has hit the top-five at his past four starts and does boast a win over this course and distance. Rates the testing material. REGGIE'S BOY (2) has placed two of his past three here and looks to be building up to another victory. In the mix. HARROW (7) saves his best form for this seven-furlong journey and can trouble the judge with any luck in running. BRING ME FLOWERS (6) next best in a race with only a couple of chances.
RACE 5 - STATS (3) resumes here but the form he showed when last in work was good enough to feature in a race like this. Has a handy first-up record and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise. FAMILY STAR (2) loves this track and trip with three wins and seven placings from just 12 attempts and will be rock-hard fit for this. Hard to beat in this suitable contest. YOUR TOO GOOD (4) has only missed a drum once in seven first-up efforts and has won two from three over this course and distance. Has to be included in calculations. GOSSIP TORQUE (6) will strip fitter second-up from the spell and draws the inside alley. In the mix. PRIME RULER (1) next best.
RACE 6 - NOLAN (2) is a consistent conveyance who has hit the top-five at his past eight starts and is yet to miss a place in four attempts over this sprint journey. Gets 3kg off with the claim and will be ready to peak now fourth-up from the spell. Sure to be right there at the business end. CORBUSIER (7) hasn't done much wrong with two wins and four placings from six outings to start the career and should get a gun run from gate two. Drops in weight and has to be respected. TALONS (4) resumes here but has won first-up before and may run a race while fresh. WICKLOW LASS (6) is a three-time winner over this track and trip and can feature in the finish again. AMNESTY (1) strips fitter second-up and is one for the exotics players.
RACE 7 - Former Victorian IGNAZIO (4) broke the maiden status in his first run for the new stable when heavily supported and will have taken a bunch of confidence from that dominant victory. Can go right on with the job now. LEAN EAGLE (1) has hit the top-four in all six career outings to date and is yet to put in a poor performance. Top-three candidate. FANCIFUL MR FOX (5) resumes here but has tuned up for this with a recent trial placing and the form prior to the spell was consistent enough. Respect any market confidence. LASER BEAM (3) next best while fresh.
RACE 8 - Former NSW galloper FOURSOMES (7) just missed the placings in her debut run down south before being tipped out for time to furnish. Should find this assignment a touch easier and can play a role in her first local outing. GABBY'S READY (8) has placed three of four over this course and distance and looks to be knocking on the door of a maiden victory. Likely to feature. BLEDISLOE (1) will strip fitter second-up from the break and should sit handy in the run from gate three. In the mix. BULLSEYE BANJO (2) put in a career-best performance when resuming and may have turned the corner now. Ready to go one better. The well-related NAPA VALLEY (3) (half to G1 winner Capital Gain) next best in a race with only a handful of chances.
RACE 9 - SPIRIT OF GIVING (10) doesn't win out of turn but has hit the top-four in his past seven starts and is yet to miss a drum in three starts over this course and distance. Racing very consistently this preparation and deserves to break through. ROTH 'N' BUBBLE (9) has won two of her past three outings and it's hard to knock mares in form. Can continue the purple patch. TYCOON BEAU (6) has placed three of four around this circuit and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. Top-three credentials. MEDAL (5) resumes here but the form he showed before the break was full of merit. Can run a race while fresh. JOHN JOSEPH (8) next best for the Holts.
RACE 10 - BUBBLES'N'FROTH (6) returned in fine fashion with a strong win here and will have taken some confidence from that effort. Winning hoop Stanley sticks in the saddle and looks the runner in this field with the most upside. Capable of taking the next step. ELLIE'S DREAM (3) got the job done over this track and trip last time out and only needs some luck from the sticky draw to feature in the finish. KIDSTON (2) is a two-time winner around this circuit and is more than capable on his day. Top-three commodity on best form. BRAVE INTENT (9) was a touch plain last time out but go on the solid first-up win here two back. Worth another chance. TURN BIRD (5) rounds out the selections in an open race to close out the card.
