RACE 1 - DARE TO LOVE (3) resumes here but had been thereabouts in her efforts before the spell hitting the top-five in four of her past five starts. Should be nice and fresh for this sprint journey and gets in well at the weights with the 2kg claim. Can run a race first-up. The well-related HASANA (4) (half to Listed winner Glendara) is facing the starter for the first time but won't need to be a superstar to be competitive against this lot. Has shown some talent at the trials and any market support must be noted. OVERTERN (5) is another resuming but showed glimpses of ability when last in work and only needs some luck from the wide draw to play a role in the outcome. RED TOFFEE (1) has been in the betting at both career outings and where there's smoke there's fire. Keep safe. TUANAKI CREEK (2) best of the rest.
RACE 2 - DUBIAS MISS (11) has been knocking on the door of a maiden victory with two consecutive placings to start the career and strikes a very winnable contest here. Jones has been in the irons for both placings and sticks. Rates the testing material against this line-up. ZOU BIG BOY (7) has gotten better with each start to date and will be ready to peak now third-up from the spell. Looms as the main danger. FOREVER FORTUNE (6) has been plying his trade in harder NSW races and should find this assignment much more to his liking. In the mix. O'CALDINO (1) has been thereabouts in recent efforts and may earn some minor money. TANGO BRAVO (3) is at the races for the first time but has shown some ability at the trials and a watch on betting is advised.
RACE 3 - NAVAL SEAL (1) wasn't disgraced in town last time out just missing the placings and should appreciate the drop back in grade here. Steps back in trip here and is sure to be hitting the line with gusto. SHE'S GOT VEUVE (7) was a touch disappointing at the latest effort but the form prior was good enough to feature in a race like this. Can bounce right back to form in this. MORE TROUBLE (4) should push forward to race up on speed from the favourable draw and will give backers a sight. BEAN FOGGY (3) has hit the top-five at his past five outings and is one for the exotics players. SUPER CHILLED (2) next in line with the Waller/Maloney combination.
RACE 4 - SHE OURS (1) resumes here but had been right there at Listed level in two runs before the spell and should find this task much easier. Is one from one over this course and distance and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise. ZATANNA (6) is another to have saluted over this track and trip and has only missed a drum once in five career efforts. Revved up for this with two recent trials and rates a serious contender. INVISIBLE TARGET (10) shed the maiden tag here last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Can right go on with the job now. TIPSY TIGER (8) gets the reliable Gollan/Jones combination and cannot be ignored. SPARTUS (3) best of the rest from the inside alley.
RACE 5 - NOBLE DECREE (1) broke the maiden status over this track and trip when resuming in a confidence building victory and winning hoop Callow sticks in the irons. Can make it back-to-back to start the campaign. BACKSTAGE (3) was a touch disappointing before the spell but go on the strong Gold Coast win on debut. Drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and looms as the main danger. Former Victorian CHOSEN LEGEND (6) is having her first run for the new stable but is sure to find this easier than what she faced down south. Respect any market support. MEHRETU (4) gets the services of Maloney in the saddle and should be kept very safe. MALECON (2) gets in well at the weights with the 3kg claim and may make his presence felt.
RACE 6 - DOWN UNDER STUNNAH (8) couldn't have been more impressive shedding the maiden tag last time out and winning rider Lerena retains the ride. Looks to have found her right distance range now and it's hard to knock mares in form. Should be right there when the judge calls a halt. KAYLEEN'S PROFIT (10) has placed two from two over this staying test and only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to be right in the finish. UP AND COMER (6) has hit the top-five in all six outings this preparation and rarely puts in a poor one. Has to be included in calculations. AROUND THE BUOY (7) will be rock-hard fit for this and draws favourably. In the mix. MAGADAN (3) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be slept on.
RACE 7 - Open contest to close out the card. Former NSW galloper CARPACCIO (1) has been thereabouts in all four runs since joining the new stable and looks to be working up to another victory. Drawn to get all the favours from the inside marble and rates the one they all have to run down. SYNERGY IN MOTION (6) got the maiden out of the way in dominant fashion at the latest effort and may have turned the corner now. Could easily go back-to-back. COOL PANELS (4) has placed two from two over this track and trip and has only missed the top-four once in seven career efforts. Has to be included. SHABOOH SHALAA (3) was too bad to be true last time but go on the solid win over this course and distance two back. Worth another chance. DEEP DAWN (5) finally broke the maiden status at the latest outing and can go right on with the job now.
