RACE 1 - STRYKER'S GAL (5) got too far back to threaten last start at Pinjarra following a close defeat two back over 1300m. She'll find this a touch easier than her recent efforts and the drop back to 1200m isn't a big issue. Maps to get her chance and can shed the maiden tag in this suitable event. SNAKERATTLE'N'ROLL (3) was well beaten here a fortnight ago behind a progressive type and the form out of that race has been good. The wide draw may see him get back, but he's open to further improvement and can play a major role in the finish. FIFTY WORDS (2) was no match here 44 days ago and was scratched here earlier this month with barrier issues. The fresh run suggested he wasn't far off a maiden win however and he can be thereabouts. GEM'S MAN (1) has had a few goes now but his form ties in through Snakerattle'n'roll. Worth including. ADMIRATION BAY (7) can lead from an inside barrier and won't be far away.

RACE 2 - SAINTY CULLITY (3) dropped back in trip last start and never featured when well beaten as the favourite. Now back up to the mile which is a big tick and Fiore takes the ride now. Expecting him to bounce back to form and shed the maiden tag in a very winnable assignment. ICANDOIT ONMYOWN (7) beat home Sainty Cullity last start when on the 7-day back-up and is coming in with a similar setup this time. She's been tried over this trip previously and rates highly off her past couple of performances. She appears the main danger. PROPHET STEEL (9) was another who dropped back in trip last start and never looked likely. Her run over this trip two back was solid and the blinkers come off now. Maps to get her chance and won't be far away. THINK LIKA WINNER (1) is better than he showed last start and looks well placed in this much easier assignment. LENDANEAR (6) is next best.

RACE 3 - SURE THING (4) led them up and bolted in over 1100m last start, scoring by 2.4L in impressive fashion. Out to 1300m now, but he's won at this trip previously and he draws ideally down low. Can find the front and take beating once again. ZING TO WIN (1) disappointed in a much tougher race at Belmont last start after a strong performance in Saturday grade two back. Faithfull has a strong record when riding for Team Pearce and he looks to get his chance from a good gate. Expecting him to be right in the finish. BAALBEK (2) got the job done by 0.8L last start at this track and rises in trip third-up into the campaign. He's only been tested at this trip once, though the booking of Fiore is a good push. Can put her best foot forward. PRETTY DEVINE (8) is racing well and loves this trip, having won 3/9. Sure to be thereabouts. NO MORE DUST (7) is next best if she can hold her form.

RACE 4 - WINEACLOCKSUMWHERE (6) drops back to 1100m today after being caught late in the race at Belmont last time out. This is easier and Faithfull has a winning record aboard the gelding. Has an edge on ratings and if he can bring his recent form to this event, he'll be hard to beat. FLOBA (2) is a worthy opponent however, bringing up back-to-back wins to start his campaign. He has the speed to cross from out wide and he'll be at his peak third-up into the campaign. Progressing nicely and appears the main danger. LOVE DRUNK BABY (1) can roll forward from the draw and make his own luck after being gunned down most recently over 1200m behind Floba. He did jump favourite there, however, and was off a 30-day break. Better suited here and can bounce back. TOP FUN (10) was outclassed last start at Belmont and is better suited to this event. BLUE CAN TALK (3) was solid first-up and can build on that performance.

RACE 5 - THATSTHEWAYILIKEIT (8) disappointed last start after a good start to her campaign, beaten 3.3L. Fiore now hops in the saddle in a good push for her chances and the wide draw doesn't hurt as she tends to get back in her races anyway. Happy to overlook one poor run and expect her to get back to her best. SCIENCE DEGREE (1) was only caught late last start when beaten That'sthewayilikeit and suspect similar tactics will be adopted here. He flew across from out wide to lead with the 4kg claim coming in hand. Should be right in the finish once again. DREAM BROOK (4) needs a touch of luck from out wide but has been racing in good order in recent efforts. Faithfull has a strong record on board the mare and reunites today. Should make her presence felt if things go her way. BRONZE ROCKET (6) disappointed last start up in trip but was very good here fresh. Can return to form. CLASSIC CODE (7) has claims on the back of a strong win last time out.

RACE 6 - DUBLIN RED (7) got over the top to score over 1200m here last start and put up a good figure in doing so. This looks a similar race and Fiore remains in the saddle. May get back in the run, but if she can reproduce what she did last time out, she can bring up back-to-back wins. QUEEN'S SACRIFICE (12) won well two back in an all-the-way win before a 4.3L defeat at Belmont last time out. She has the speed to cross from out wide and she'll find this easier than recent performances. Down in the weights and will give them something to catch. PULL THE TRIGGER (4) comes through some strong races in town and comes to Kalgoorlie with one of the stable's strike jockeys engaged. He'll be back in the run, but he's got ratings to feature and is sure to be doing his best work late in the race. KAKADU (2) bumped into a good winner last start but draws much better this time around. Won't be far away. LUCKY LILY (9) can improve on recent efforts.

RACE 7 - JUST SUBLIME (4) is a lightly-raced filly on the rise, flying home last start to just miss over 1200m. She was slowly away there and the rise to 1400m looks to suit with the senior jock hopping back on board. Expecting her to take closer order this time and bounce back to winning ways. MILITARY ACTION (5) stuck on well over this course and distance a fortnight ago to finish 2.1L off the winner. He was better in his prior efforts and a return to that form looks on the cards. Likely to get back but should be launching a strong attack late in the race. HAND ME DOWN (3) is on debut in WA after making the move from the McEvoy's. No trials to gauge, but he brings across some handy figures and some upside still to come. Worth including. ON JUST TERMS (6) can roll forward for Fiore and prove hard to run down in the straight. OUR SHILLAYLEIGH (2) was too good last start and can repeat the dose without surprising.
