RACE 1 - The fillies and mares maidens kick us off. VERSION (10) has hit the top-five in all four starts since joining the new stable and looks to be working up to that elusive maiden victory. Strikes a very winnable contest here and should be going very close. The well-related LADY ZAYDI (8) (half to 2xListed winner Gundy Son) has placed two of three at this track and has gotten better with each run this time in work. Top-three candidate. RELATIVES (5) has been racing consistently without winning but may earn some minor money again. Former Victorian EJAY'S FIREFOX (7) is first-up here but should find this easier than what she faced down south. Respect any market confidence.

RACE 2 - FRENCH EMPIRE (5) resumes here but the form he showed in his first preparation was good enough to feature in a race of this nature. Revved up for this with an easy Doomben trial and should be right there when the whips are cracking. STOP THE TAPE (10) has been well in the betting in both career efforts and where there's smoke there's fire. Keep very safe. KOOL BRUCE (6) back from 49 day freshen-up and has the benefit of a trial placing, rates a place chance. FOOLSAY (4) last appeared four-and-a-half months ago when he finished fifth over 1400m at Gatton. Has the ability to run well.

RACE 3 - Former NSW galloper SIR MAURICE (10) has won two from three since joining the new yard and is racing with a lot of confidence this campaign. Looks ready for the six-furlong journey now and is sure to be very competitive again. EL PENSADOR (6) has been plying his trade in harder metropolitan races and will find this assignment much more to his liking. Is one from one around this circuit and rates a serious threat. CELESTIAL HARBOUR (2) was a touch disappointing at the latest outing but the form prior was full of merit. Can bounce right back. HOTFOOT PERFORMER (12) loves this track and trip with two wins and a second from just three attempts. Has to be included. Former Victorian DESERT STAR (5) just missed the placings in his first local run and will have come on with that effort now under the belt. In the mix.

RACE 4 - MORGANITE (3) is a very consistent conveyance who has only missed the top-five once in eight career starts and this is not an overly strong affair. Winning hoop Allen reunites and must be respected from the Gollan camp. Looks the testing material. QUARTER RED (7) has placed three from three around this circuit and rarely puts in a poor one. Good enough to play a major role. Former Singapore galloper MAY (2) is having his first local run but tuned up for this with two solid trials and any moves in betting must be noted. The well-related RUNAROUND SUE (4) (half to G3 winner Thiamandi) best of the rest with the 2kg claim.

RACE 5 - EXECUTIVE STRESS (1) has strung three wins together on the bounce including going two from two over this course and distance. Again gets the benefit of Orr's 2kg claim and it's hard to knock winning form. Looks the hardest to toss. OUR ORATOR (10) resumes here but the form he showed before the spell was good enough for a race like this. Can run a race while fresh. CAPE CRUSADER (8) has placed two of three over this seven-furlong journey and is usually thereabouts. Top-three aspirations. Former Victorian galloper LET FLY (4) saves her best form for this distance range with three wins and two placings from just six attempts. Can run a big race for the new stable.

RACE 6 - The well-related IRAMA (3) (half to G2 winner Serasana) has placed two from two over this journey and may run a big race while fresh. HUSSON'S REVENGE (6) was a touch plain last start but go on the solid form prior. Worth another chance. FLASH ZARIZ (4) was second at this track two starts ago then appeared at Warwick last time and finished seventh. Tough to beat on best. Can atone. AERIAL BAY (5) look for an improved run here.

RACE 7 - Open race to close out the card. SAMURAI WARRIOR (1) is another to draw poorly but has been racing very consistently at Toowoomba and gets winning rider Tomizawa back in the saddle. Nicely placed. PURE THOUGHTS (6) shed the maiden tag at the latest effort and will have taken a bunch of confidence from that breakthrough win. Top-three credentials. BRAVE BOY (11) last start finished fourth over 1800m at Inverell. Finds a suitable race and is expected to be in the finish. TOBA (5) worked home well to finish sixth over 1600m at Gatton last time out. He should relish the extra ground this time.
