RACE 1 - DECLARED INNOCENT (1) has had a few spins now attempting to shed the maiden tag, but went close last start when 1.3L away at Pinjarra. The sectionals he ran last start were lightning and Pike knows what he's got under the bonnet now. Finds a suitable race and is ready to get the job done. AH KUM (2) steps up to 2000m again today and was very good at the end of last campaign over 2100m at Belmont. The draw should see him close to the speed and he can dictate from the front of the field. Tracking nicely and appears the main danger. HEZA GRUNT (5) is ticking along well without winning and has turned in a couple of strong efforts recently. His form ties in through Declared Innocent as he set the tempo up front and stuck on well. Can play a major role. ALNAUD (3) is better than he's shown his past couple and can bounce back to his best. PRINCIPAL DEALER (9) is a filly on the rise and looks suited up in distance. Can be in the finish.

RACE 2 - HEAVY METAL (4) is knocking on the door of a maiden win and now gets the blinkers on for the first time. CJP hops in the saddle now and the inside barrier could see her a little closer in the run. Best form is much better than maiden grade and she can shed the tag this time around. WON FOR THE GIRLS (1) was solid fresh over 1100m before dropping back in trip last start and missing out as the odds-on favourite. Pike remains with him as he steps out to 1200m again today in what looks a smart move by connections. Expecting him to play a major role. LADY COCO (5) has the speed to roll across from out wide and was only gunned down late at Albany last time out. She's shown plenty in her career thus far and while this is tougher, it looks well within her grasp. MAGICAL SEQUENCE (7) has trialled well coming into this and showed good ability in her debut campaign. Can go to another level this time in work. MOMENT IN THE SUN (2) can feature first-up.

RACE 3 - SWEET SURRENDER (11) gets the blinkers on first time today as she resumes for the Michael Grantham stable. Only one trial coming in where she hit the line well under hands and heels with the blinkers on, which stay on today. CJP rides and she can return on a winning note. JACKPOT BINGO (1) has been close in recent events and drops back to 1400m today after being tried right up in distance. He's placed 2/2 at this trip previously and Pike sticking with him is a good sign after a 0.3L defeat last time out. Rates highly and won't be far away. COUSIN MORTIMER (3) flew home last start at York when only 1.6L off the winner and was competitive in similar races to this prior. He'll need some luck from the draw but his best form will see him thereabouts. JATS (2) showed positive signs last start when on the speed and can make his own luck again. MANTA RAY BAY (4) is better than he showed last start and can bounce back.

RACE 4 - TOP OF THE WALK (1) moved into the race but got tired close to home, finishing 2.9L off the winner at Belmont recently. He was close two back at Pinjarra and the slight rise to 1100m isn't an issue. Maps to get her chance and can put his best foot forward. THE AGENCY (3) gets the visors back on second-up after just ticking along to the line first-up. Needs to improve, but looks open to that up in trip and with the gear change. Wouldn't surprise to see him play a major role. ENCHANTED STAR (13) is on debut for the Grantham Stable out of the G3 winning mare Celebrity Dream. She's moved well at the trials and CJP hops in the saddle for her debut effort. Wide draw is a niggle, but she has some class and can make an immediate impact. LAST SHOUT (7) gets Pike in the saddle now after a strong debut effort at big odds. Can go on with the job. G'DAY BLOKE (4) trialled nicely coming in and is not to be discounted.

RACE 5 - L'IL CAPRI (2) is racing in good order, getting back to winning ways over the mile at Pinjarra a fortnight ago. ZJP now hops on board claiming 3kg, however this looks a similar event to last time out. Can land in a good position from the barrier and bring up back-to-back wins. OISIN (3) bounced back to form last start when up to 1650m and sitting close to the speed, ending up 2.2L off a good winner. He maps for a similar run this time around and he still has plenty of upside being lightly raced. Trending the right way and can go one better without surprising. FLASH PADDY (1) will be fitter for two trials coming in and will be suited by getting out over this trip first-up. He's placed 2/4 fresh in the past and he has been racing in much tougher company recently. Should be strong late in the race. BAY STREET (6) finished behind L'il Capri last start but gets the blinkers back on. Can turn the tables. SHEEZA SHEILA (5) won impressively last start and can go on with the job.

RACE 6 - PSYCHO SISTA (4) rose to 1400m last start and didn't run out the extra journey, beaten a long way second-up in a very strong race. Back in grade here is a big tick and she has the speed to roll across from the wide alley. Well placed third-up into the campaign and can get back to winning ways. LILLIAN (6) won on debut in NZ before being picked up by the mighty cerise and white of Peters Investments. Blinkers go on for her return and she shapes similarly to Luvnwar for the same connections last year. CJP rides and she can be flying home at the finish. PINGERS (8) disappointed most recently but was much better in the starts prior. They've been in stronger company than today, and the inside barrier is a big tick. Can give a bold sight. JUST FAMOUS (3) trialled well around some nice types coming in and the 3kg claim comes in handy. Can make an impression on debut. SHOW THE WAY (1) was solid first-up in stronger company and won't be far away.

RACE 7 - TRUE PLAYER (1) was strong from the back first-up last campaign and was solid in a recent trial under Pike, who sticks in the saddle fresh. He's got plenty of upside being a lightly-raced gelding and while he may get back in the run, he'll be flying home late in the race. Might be one to work through the grades this time in. AMARLIME (4) has been in strong order her past few, beaten 2.4L most recently in stronger company. She's hit her groove now and Fiore is riding well of late. Rates highly on recent form and appears the main danger. KING HIT (3) dipped a little second-up into the campaign but is a third-up winner in the past. This is much easier than what he's been racing in and Steve Parnham rides now. Ready to peak and can put his best foot forward. KIMBERLEY ROSE (7) flew home to score last start and the form out of that race has been solid. Watch for her late in the race once again. UNIVERSAL HOTNESS (6) is better than she showed last start and will be in this for a long way.
