RACE 1 - HE'STHECHIEF (5) started a solid fav at his second run back when dislodging his rider near the 300m over 1000m at Muswellbrook in a Super Mdn on May 2. Since fitted with a sharp 900m trial win at Gunnedah and the winkers go on. Hard to hold out. BEAUMISTA (4) smart return in the heavy (8) going when attacking the line late for a solid second over 1000m at Tamworth. This looks a little easier and won't have to improve much to take this out. KOBOLD (10) near her top now third up and back in trip after chipping away in the rain affected going when third over 1200m at Bathurst. Well drawn for this and will be running on late. FUEL THE JET (1) lightly raced gelding returning from a lengthy break. Started fav on debut when closing strongly for an even third at Narromine over 1100m last September. Given the one trial in readiness for this when second over 900m at Gunnedah. Inside gate is a bonus with the crossover nose band going on.

RACE 2 - JOSEPHINE (3) showed blistering speed from the outset when leading throughout on debut for a comfortable victory over 1000m at Gunnedah. Backs up quickly and will prove hard to run down again. FOUR DEGREES (1) bounced off his good first-up minor placing with a fast-finishing win over 1200m at Inverell. Jumps in weight for this and will be strong late. Each way. BE SHARP (4) big rise in class at her second race start when a plodding eleventh over 1100m in the LR Woodlands Stakes at Scone. This looks much easier and assess on her good debut placing. BLUE DE BEERS (2) Blue Point colt from a Lonhro mare on debut for the Clint Lundholm yard. Has run time in both trials and must be kept safe.

RACE 3 - Strong maiden with plenty of chances. CURRUMBIN ALLEY (1) started hard in the market at debut ($2.20 fav), when a gritty second with the 59kg over 1250m at Gunnedah. Doesn't have to improve much to take this out from the inside gate. GRANDINI (10) has a string of minor placings to her record and is due for a change of luck. Returned with a fast finishing second over 1200m at Tamworth in the heavy (8) going. Will appreciate Small's 2kg claim again from the low gate. Goes close. LORD VETTORI (4) fifth up for this and a win looks imminent. Kept coming in the heavy (9) going when a tenacious second over 1200m at Goulburn. Drawn out for this and placed here in the past. Top four prospect. COUNT YOUR PENNIES (9) first up for the new stable caught the eye late when fifth over 1100m at Wellington. Winkers come off and the extra trip suits.

RACE 4 - SPEEDY HENRY (2) classy gelding with a ton of upside who will take holding out here. Racing nicely through his grades and ticks plenty of boxes with the claim from the low draw. Blinkers go on and will prove hard to stop. HAMMERING AWAY (3) comes to hand quickly and has a nice record at this track. Battled away with the 59kg first up when a plugging fifth over 1200m at Parkes. Placed second up in the past and the extra distance helps. BADBOY MCCOY (7) kept fresh for this and some of his best performances have been over this track and trip. Covered plenty of ground in the run and was a spent force in the straight when eleventh over 1600m at Quirindi. No shock to see him take a hand in the finish. RUFUS WINRIGHT (6) holding his form well and drops sharply in trip after finishing a narrow third at Mudgee over 2000m. Will be running on late.

RACE 5 - D'ARPANO (13) tough mare with her hoof on the till at her home track. Returned good closing splits over this distance when attacking the line late to secure third over 1300m at Parkes. A repeat of that effort will see her take this out. HIBIKI HARMONY (2) handy filly building a strong record. Won two in a row last prep and returns without a trial after going quickly through her classes. Mitchell Bell rides and is likely to go forward from the good draw. MISSY MOSS (9) was rewarded for her consistency when getting off the mark at start six with a comfortable win over 1200m at Mudgee. Senior rider on and capable of taking a hand in the finish again. WILLINGA KARISMA (1) improving as she gets deeper in the prep and due for a change of luck from the good gate. Tough effort on the speed from the wide gate when second over 1400m at Wellington. Goes close.

RACE 6 - PRESSNELL (2) progressive gelding who was a dominant maiden winner on resumption for the Mack Griffith yard. Struck trouble at the start and got further back than expected when a fast finishing fifth as fav over 1100m at Wellington. Winning rider back aboard today and should prove too good for this lot. MAGIC FOREST (5) improving filly who steps up to the 1100m for the first time at her fifth run back. Collared late when a game on pace second over 1000m at Canberra. Sure to be thereabouts again. MYTHICAL MOOCHI (7) sound return at start fourteen when launching late to get up in the last stride over 1100m at Inverell. Can go on with it here with the 1.5kg claim. Respect. WASTED DAYS (17) at his top for this and due for a change of luck. Taken back from the wide draw when a slashing second over 1300m at Parkes with the 60kg. Worthy each way player.

RACE 7 - CASTLEBAR ROAD (3) has excellent credentials over this track and trip and kept fresh for this. No match for the in-form Fangela when seventh over 1000m at Canberra. Gets good weight relief again with the claim. Will take catching. YUKAN ROSE (8) had genuine excuses at her first run back from the wide draw when a fading seventh over 1000m at Taree in the heavy going. Drops further in weight today and has a good second-up record. Value prospect. CUMNOCK (11) two of his three wins have come at this course and looks to have strengthened up over the break. Sprouted wings over the closing stages when a tenacious winner over 1000m at this track. Up in grade and not to be underestimated. DESTINY'S BOUNTY (5) resumes with a handy first-up record. Back without a trial and his best form is over this trip. One for the exotics.

RACE 8 - Tough way to end the day. MEDINAH (10) returned from a let-up when closing off strongly after blowing the start to finish a respectable fifth over 1400m at Mudgee. Only has to mend his manners to bounce back. RHYTHM IS A DANCER (2) has an excellent winning record and even better placed out to the 1400m. On the quick backup when defeating inferior opposition over 1200m at Inverell in similar class. Tempo suits and should handle the rise in weight. THE DRAMATIST (1) comes out of a strong race and was a total forgive from the wide gate when a plugging thirteenth over 1400m at Scone in the Country Cup. Will benefit with the 4kg claim from the good gate. Each way. BUSH TELEGRAPH (12) never in the contest from the awkward gate on resumption when a fading fourteenth over 1600m at Scone in Highway class. Goes well this track and capable of improving from the draw.
