RACE 1 - The babies kick us off. THEE CREEK (1) wasn't too far away in Group 2 company at the latest effort and the form prior to start the career was good enough to feature in a race of this nature. Will find this assignment much easier and can bounce right back to the winners' stall. DECEITFUL MISS (5) shed the maiden tag here before being tipped out for further time to furnish. Include with the 2kg claim. WEEKEND SPIRIT (7) is on debut but has shown plenty of ability at the trials and is sure to be well-educated from the Bruce camp. Respect any market confidence. BRUTAL GLORY (3) is a last-start winner who jumps from the inside marble. Key player.

RACE 2 - Former Victorian VILLANDRY (6) just ran into one better when having his first run for the new stable and will have come on with that hit-out now under the belt. Showed ability in his efforts down south and looks the one they all have to run down. BOROGORU (2) has had a few chances but has been thereabouts at the past four outings and will be rock-hard fit for this. Top-three candidate. SLUGWORTH (5) will be better for that first-up effort and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. In the mix. MUCHACHO (4) was well found on debut and where's there's smoke there's fire. Keep safe. GISELLE ABEEL (9) is facing the starter for the first time and any push in betting is worth noting.

RACE 3 - KIWI SPIRIT (2) returned in fine fashion with a strong maiden win around this circuit and is sure to have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Winning rider Guthmann-Chester sticks in the irons and should be going very close again. The well-related ADRANOS (1) (half to G2 winner Tiamo Grace) is back from a lengthy spell but has revved up for this with two recent trials and gets Maloney back on board from the favourable draw. Can run a race while fresh. LA PETITE MAISON (3) is another resuming but has placed two from two around this circuit and is usually thereabouts. Top-three aspirations. Former Victorian REVALENE (4) will be much better after that first-up effort for the new stable and will find this easier than what he faced down south. In the mix. DASHING BASICS (6) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be ignored.

RACE 4 - OSCAR BOOIE (3) just missed the placings when facing the starter for the first time and will have taken a bunch of benefit from that race day experience. Maloney stays on top following that debut effort and can improve enough to play a role in the outcome. The well-related EQUINE ART (7) (half to G2 winner and 2xG1 placed Glenfiddich) has hit the top-five at her past four starts and looks to be nearing that elusive maiden victory. Top-three commodity from the inside marble. CHEEK TO CHEEK (5) was thereabouts in both outings here before being given time to mature. Can run a race while fresh. EMJAY STAR (10) next in line with the claim from the low draw.

RACE 5 - CABALETTO (3) was well in the betting when at the races for the first time and didn't let supporters down with a strong win around this circuit. Winning hoop Huxtable stays in the stirrups and should be right there again when the whips are cracking. HEY DAISY (4) got the maiden out of the way on debut before just missing the placings at Gatton last time out. Will be ready to peak now and rates a genuine top-three prospect. CAPITAL DIVA (7) returned in fine fashion with a dominant Gold Coast victory and will have derived a stack of confidence from that win. Can go right on with the job now. DRAVID (11) hails from a handy yard, draws the inside alley and gets in well at the weights with the 2kg claim. Ticks a few boxes.

RACE 6 - TALTARNI FIELDS (1) resumed in good nick with a strong win at the Sunny Coast and has a handy record over this six-furlong journey with two wins and three placings from seven attempts. Gets some weight relief with the 2kg claim and should get a gun run in transit from the inside alley. Rates the testing material against this line-up. GIVE GIGGLES (5) has been right there in both starts here since the spell and will be ready to peak now third-up from the spell. Include in calculations. MEAN APPROACH (6) saves his best form for this trip and will be high on confidence following that last-start victory. Top-three conveyance. MORE LOVE (10) goes well for jockey Jamieson who has three wins and two placings from ten steers. One for the exotics players. BOODUA ROMANCE (3) next in line while fresh.

RACE 7 - THE IRISH (1) loves it here at the Ipswich circuit winning two from two including one over this staying trip. Will be at peak fitness now fourth-up from the spell and has to be respected from the Freedman camp. Should be right there at the business end. WITTELSBACH (11) placed over this course and distance last time out and Melbourne Cup-winning rider Dolan sticks. Include in exotics. HENLEY ROOM (7) got the maiden out of the way at the latest effort and will take some confidence from that victory. Cannot be discounted.

RACE 8 - Open race to close out the card. LUMENS LENNY (2) has been racing consistently this preparation hitting the top-five in all six outings. Goes well at this circuit with a win and three seconds from just five starts and will be at peak fitness for this. Should be right there when the judge calls a halt. BEEN A SECRET (5) has a handy record over this distance range only missing a drum once in six starts. Rarely puts in a poor one and will take some running down. MALARINA (15) has placed over this course and distance and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. Top-three commodity. VIERVILLE (8) has won two of three since joining the new stable and gets 2kg weight relief with the claim. In the mix. The well-related SIR CARTER (1) (half to G2 winner Oak Door) rounds out the selections.
