RACE 1 - SIERRA BLANCA (9) makes her debut and is very fit for this after three trials. You have to respect the Dabernig yard placing her to advantage. GOLDEN MIKKI (1) is another heading over from Victoria. He hasn't done much this prep but closed off OK in a harder maiden. Will find the line well. HAVILAH (8) was close up in a recent trial. You'd think it might have some interest in going forward today. SOCIAL STORM (3) has some new gear on and was not far away at Gawler. Should be hard fit now. AMBUSHED (6) does come out of a weak race but did enough to suggest she has ability. Won't get a better chance.

RACE 2 - Scratchings have impacted this race. LAYIN' UP (8) boxed on well when resuming. She has been around the mark in nearly all of her outings. Must go close now if able to find a spot in the early stages. JANDAMI (3) kicks back off after showing a bit in the first campaign. He shows no early speed but can really attack the line. Just needs the speed to be on. TUDAYA (6) was not far away at his first go for the new stable. Has to be respected with more improvement. BEDOUIN VILLA (7) comes back a little in ground. Can place but the barrier hurts. IRLANDAIS (2) was OK when resuming but does need to do more.

RACE 3 - THISISMYTURF (2) gets his chance to win back here. He has had one go at this course and won it last Spring. Likely has similar conditions to then and will be at peak fitness too. Must go close. GRASSMERE DIAMOND (4) has been in excellent form through her career. She will race on the pace and prove hard to run down. MISO (1) drops back from running in metro company. Has to find this more suitable and the claim helps. QUIK RHAPID (3) will find itself right at the front of proceedings. Does go best for today's rider. HOT FLUSH (5) probably pushes forward as well. Had three trials to be ready to go.

RACE 4 - THE KILL CLUB (5) is racing in great heart. She had two solid placings then over this course and distance, she sat near the pace and ran away late. Obviously this is harder but gains good confidence from that win. THE MARINER (7) was in a lower race at Hamilton but put a good gap on them. The drop in distance could hurt here. GOPHER FRANK (1) goes first up after contesting a Saturday race. Does enjoy racing here. ARTISSI (6) has been consistent without winning. She will get back but finish it off. FROSE (4) will be up there on the pace and could run a good race bringing over Victorian form lines.

RACE 5 - This race has been really affected by the scratchings of strong hopes. Of those left, LADY DEXTEROUS (11) is the least experienced runner but getting to what should be a better journey. Watch the market on her as the stable will have placed her to good advantage. TOPSPIN (6) drops back off contesting a hurdle race. The run before that was pretty decent at this track. BALTIC WAY (14) got back in the field and hit the line well a month back. PIANTA (4) was a winner here two back and then stepped 800m within a short period. Has to be better for that. MENACE TO SOBRIETY (2) is certainly bred to want this.

RACE 6 - BRAVE STAR (1) has been racing solely in metropolitan races. While they weren't massively tough contests, the standard has to be stronger than this. He also draws a lot better this time around. Should be a good chance to quickly improve the race placings. SHE'S A CON (4) raced a lot closer last time and it might have backfired. Was widely drawn then but gets a softer run here. WILD WILLY (2) has run several placings at this course. This sort of company is more his go. SUPREME THUNDER (10) won over this track and trip only recently. Just needs some luck from the draw. THE LAST DANCE (3) should be forward in running so watch the pattern.

RACE 7 - HEIDI HEIDI HO (7) resumes off a preparation where she was never far away in her races. Maybe this sort of journey is more her go. Has been fancied in many of those outings. JUDGE KELLIE (6) heads over from Victoria after some decent efforts. Just starting to get down in the weights as well. TWO KAY KLICK (3) has not put in a bad one all campaign. He gets a soft run in transit and won't have to get back quite so far. VEE ROD (5) gets some gear changes on resumption. Watch the market here as a good run would not surprise. LOOSE LIP LLOYD (2) has won many times at this track. Just whether he needs one more.
