EMERALD JOY (12) has been thereabouts in all three runs this preparation and will be rock-hard fit for this. Gets in on the minimum being a two-year-old and can make her presence felt. FLYING ASTERN (2) might find this a bit short but has placed first-up before and will be hitting the line with gusto. Former NSW galloper BLOOMIN' GOLD (9) is having her first run for the new stable but will find this easier than what she faced down south. Respect any market confidence. ANACARDIUM (1) rounds out the selections in a race with only a handful of hopes.
RACE 2 - FINAL MISSION (2) is a last-start winner who has placed two from three around this circuit. Gets plenty of weight relief with the 4kg claim and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside marble. Ticks a few boxes. GOODFUN (8) was a touch plain last time out but go on the close-up second here two back. Can bounce right back to form. CUSHY (5) saves his best form for this seven-furlong journey and has been just behind the placegetters of late. Top-three aspirations. THE LANDING (6) is a three-time winner at this circuit and will be rock-hard fit for this. Capable of a strong showing. HIT 'EM UP (4) should be able to sit up on speed and will give backers a sight.
RACE 3 - DAICOS (3) grows a leg for hoop Missen who has five wins from as many steers and is racing with a lot of confidence of late. Has won three from four around this circuit and maps perfectly from the inside stall. Rates the testing material. BALDASSARE (1) is a consistent conveyance who has hit the top-four in 11 of his past 12 outings. Is usually thereabouts and can play a role in the outcome. MORE THAN A STAR (7) was a touch disappointing last time out but the form prior was good enough for a race like this. Gets some weight off from the low draw and must be included in calculations. WINDOW TAPPER (8) is having her first run for the new stable and any market support must be noted. CHIEF MONDO (9) is on the doorstep of another victory and shouldn't be discounted.
RACE 4 - CROWN REACH (4) loves it here around this circuit with two wins and a second from just three spins and will be at peak fitness now third-up from the spell. Has a handy association with jockey Missen and should be going very close again. The penny has dropped for IKNOWYOU (6) who has put back-to-back wins together and is sure to be high on confidence now. Can continue the winning run. MOUNT MARGARET (12) has placed two from two over this course and distance and rarely puts in a poor one. Top-three credentials. BONNET ROUGE (8) is having her first run for the new stable but will find this easier than what she's been contesting. Can run a big race while fresh. POTESTAS (9) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be slept on.
RACE 5 - FREDDIE EDDIE (3) has a handy record over this track and trip with a win and three placings from six starts and gets plenty of weight relief with the 4kg claim. Will be rock-hard fit for this and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. CHIEF MONDO (14) is working up to another victory finishing runner-up in four of his past five starts and this is not an overly strong affair. Looks a strong chance to find winning form. FERGHANA (7) resumes here but the form he has shown in previous preparations is good enough for a race of this calibre. Sure to make his presence felt while fresh. CROATIAN QUEEN (10) is having her first run for the new stable and any push in betting must be respected. LEGOLAS (2) next in line with Day on board.
RACE 6 - BURDEKIN (4) has been thereabouts in all three runs this campaign and looks to be building up to another victory. Gets in well at the weights with the claim and must be respected from the Cavanough barn. Only needs some luck from the wide draw to be featuring in the finish. DEEP BREATH (2) has hit the top-five in all four runs this campaign and will be ready to peak now. Rates a genuine top-three contender on best form. PREFERRAL (9) was too bad to be true at the latest effort but the form prior was full of merit. Worth another chance. SCORCHED LAND (3) disappointed supporters last time out when well in the betting but where there's smoke there's fire. Can bounce back. BITTERSWEET PLUCK (12) is a last-start victor who draws the inside alley. May earn some minor money.
RACE 7 - BELLO BELLO (6) is racing in great heart with a win and four seconds from her past five outings and looks very well placed in this contest. Goes well for hoop Missen and should be right there at the business end. I SHOT THE SHERIFF (7) was a touch flat last time out but go on the solid win over this track and trip two back. Gets 3kg weight relief with the claim and draws the inside marble. Can return to winning ways. SPILL THE DIAMONDS (9) is a very honest commodity who doesn't know how to run a bad race. A must for the multiples. SUMMER SIZZLING (5) has a solid record around this circuit and winning rider Day reunites. Worth plenty of thought. BADGE (3) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be underestimated.
