RACE 1 - Tough race with almost half the field on debut. BLUE ISLES (4) brings the best of the race form, having run well over this track and distance back in April. She's drawn to give Teagan Voorham options but expect her to settle just behind the speed. She can win this. LIGHT THE NIGHT (3) is another with race experience and can improve sharply here off what he showed on debut. I AM OLE (1) is by a gun young sire and makes his debut for the state's leading 2YO stable. He's trialled well and he doesn't need to be a star to win this on debut. It's worth keeping an eye on any market support for the other debutants VIOLET LOVEBUG (6) and ULLRICH (2).

RACE 2 - A race featuring a few experienced maidens including CHARMING DEXTER (5) who gets a nice opportunity to break through at start eight. He's been solid in two of his three starts this campaign and should get the right run for jockey Todd Pannell from a decent draw. He's no star but he can go close to a win here. MANDARIN (12) defied the market expectation with a placing on debut and, with natural improvement, she can be in the finish of this. TERRITORIAN (7) steps out for the new stable and looks to have trialled well for this. SILVER CHAOS (13) and KISS AND KABOOM (10) are others to include in exotics.

RACE 3 - In a modest race, the well-bred YES I BELIEVE (5) gets a nice opportunity to break through for a maiden win. There's plenty of room for improvement off her first-up run and over 1400m she should be able to sit closer in the run. She needs things to go right but she can go close if they do. ALL TOO TRUE (2) has placed in four of his 11 starts and his best form would measure up here. If you can forgive his poor run last start, he looks a betting proposition. BON AURELIA (6) needs to improve but finds a thin race. Several of the less exposed horses, including MOUSSAKA (3) and VAMORE (4), have less convictions than their rivals and can improve here.

RACE 4 - RHINESTONE RORY (12) is a long-time maiden but he has shown enough ability to win a race like this. He has placed in seven of his 20 starts, including a couple of narrow defeats. He carries 52kg after the claim and is right in this, despite his winless record. Happy to take the punt that he'll handle the jump in distance. FIORENTE SPRITZ (7) mixes her form but is capable on her day. If she runs up to her best then she can fight out the finish. CUBAN LORD (2) is consistent and should get all the favours with the good draw and a handy claim. The stablemates MENACE TO SOBRIETY (6) and GOT AN INSPIRATION (8) are going well enough to include in exotics.

RACE 5 - FOSTER STREET (9) can mix his form but he's found a winnable race here. He looks well placed on the eight day back-up and back to 1050m. Rochelle Milnes will give him every chance from a good draw. DYLAN'S LAD (2) has more upside than most of his rivals and if you can forgive his last start failure, his prior form this campaign reads well. He's versatile and won't be too far away from the inside barrier. FASHION DOG (3) was well backed last start but had excuses. He can bounce back here. Don't ignore the winning form that both LAKEHURST (6) and BANGHOLME (1) bring to this and they should be included in wider bets.

RACE 6 - Tough race but WHITCHETY GRUB (11) looks ready to win third-up for the new stable. Drops in grade after a solid run behind a smart horse in town last start and only carries half a kilogram above the minimum in this. Can settle on speed and 1600m looks perfect. ASTRODEAN (2) comes out of the same race at Morphettville last start and his prior form looks good enough to think he can run a cheeky race here. FLYING ASSASSIN (4) looks suited back to 1600m and, while he will concede a start, he will be finishing the race off well. PRANCING COUNTESS (8) and SPIRIT OF FLIGHT (5) both did enough last start to have admirers in this.

RACE 7 - I TELL YA WHAT (2) comes out of stronger races and will enjoy the drop in class. His run at Morphettville two starts back is good enough to win this. Banking on him having a bit more upside than most of his rivals here. MATALIK (3) is a three-year-old that also has upside but he was only fair in his first run out of maiden grade last start. He needs to lift but he's open to improvement. CHARTIN (6) caught the eye first-up over 1400m and he is a previous winner second-up. He will take benefit from that and can easily figure in the finish here. Both TAMETOMO (7) and FIGHT FOR FREEDOM (12) come out of the same race as Chartin and their respective performances had merit.

RACE 8 - SMASHING ACTION (15) gains a start and has a bit of upside. She's mixed her form since a dominant maiden win but looks to have found a winnable race here. Maggie Collett can lead or take a sit just behind the speed from the good draw. Expecting her to fight out the finish. KUITPO KISS (2) is another lightly-raced mare with some upside. She's been freshened up and drops in trip for this. The good draw and the claim are in her favour. REIGNING STAR (7) is ready to win after showing nice improvement between the first and second runs of her campaign. She will be spotting her rivals a start. Include ASTROMANCER (16) and INTACTO (3) for the multiples.

RACE 9 - Competitive race to finish the day. COMMANDER MEROO (1) is a handy horse on his day and looks well placed back in this grade. His form this preparation doesn't look great on paper but he wasn't beaten far in a stronger race last start. He gets Jake Toeroek and a decent draw to aid his chances so he'll be hard to beat. NEVER SURRENDER (2) also brings strong city form that has held up in recent days. He's ready to find his best after three OK runs this time. OUR DIVINYL (3) gets off the dirt and looks a player here. WILLASTON (12) has been runner-up at this track and trip both starts this campaign and deserves respect.
