RACE 1 - TOREADOR (1) simply didn't handle the shifting surface here last time out but prior to that had posted five consecutive runner-up finishes. Knocking on the door of a maiden victory and strikes a very winnable contest here. Worth another chance and happy to concede that to him. CASTERLY ROCK (7) has placed three from three over this mile journey and is usually thereabouts. Top-three aspirations in the right sort of race for him. DURBAN HARBOUR (2) is improving with racing this time in and may earn some minor money. SLUGWORTH (6) rounds out the selections in a race with only a handful of chances.

RACE 2 - LUCIFER'S WAY (3) has been heavily supported in both starts to date but has just run into one or two better. This is not an overly strong affair and where there's smoke there's fire - and there would surely be fire down Lucifer's Way... Looks the testing material against this line-up. The well-related RAGING (6) (half to G3 winner and 2xG2 placed She Shao Fly) gets 3kg weight relief with the claim and only needs some luck from the wide draw to play a role in the finish. Race drops away behind that pair. ATOMIC GOZEN (10) might be one to improve this time for the good yard. Trials have been okay.

RACE 3 - Difficult race to line up with many of these facing the starter for the first time. Of the exposed form COOL MOON (3) has been right there in all three career outings and will strip fitter second-up from the break. Gets the services of Rodd in the irons and has race experience over a few of these. Should prove very hard to run down. CALL TO COURAGE (6) debuted in good order with a close-up second here and will have come on with that run now in the locker. Gets Jones on from a favourable draw and rates a top-three conveyance. ENFORCEABLE (1) just missed the placings in town when at the races for the first time and is sure to find this assignment a touch easier. Cannot be underestimated. WEEKEND SPIRIT (2) will be better for that first-up effort and must be respected from the Bruce barn. In the mix.

RACE 4 - AIR WE GO (5) is a promising gelding who has won two of three starts with the only failure coming on a dodgy surface at Listed level. Returned in fine fashion with a solid victory over this track and trip and winning rider Wilson-Taylor sticks in the saddle. Looks to have plenty of upside. The penny dropped for BOARD MEMBER (3) when last in work stringing three wins together on the bounce before the spell. Tuned up for this with a recent trial and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Likely to feature prominently again. BONDED AFFAIR (2) has a solid record around this circuit with a win and five placings from eight spins. Can run a race while fresh. FLYING SHELLY (10) has a win and a second from four first-up attempts and may make her presence felt. APOLLO TEN (8) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be slept on.

RACE 5 - After consecutive runner-up finishes DOUBLE WHAMMY (5) broke the maiden status here last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Drops back slightly in trip here and should be hitting the line with gusto. DARK GLEAM (2) may have suffered from the dreaded second-up syndrome at the latest effort but go on the strong win here when resuming. Can bounce back. MR O'REILLY (1) has won over this course and distance and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. Top-three candidate. PEE BEE NOIR (13) showed nice improvement to win over this track and trip last start and can go right on with the job now.

RACE 6 - PASIMA (2) put in an improved effort when a close-up third last time out and will be ready to peak now third-up from the break. Has a handy record over this mile journey with two wins and two placings from seven attempts and Lang stays in the irons following that last-start placing. Looks very hard to toss. BECAMO (5) got a well-deserved victory in town last time and has placed four from seven around this circuit. Bold showing expected with any luck from the carpark draw. OUT OF ACES (16) is an honest campaigner who is yet to put in a poor one in six career outings. Has to be included in calculations. ENTERPRISE LASSIE (9) is having her first run for the new stable and any market support must be noted. WANDA'S OUTLAW (10) next best from the inside alley.

RACE 7 - Looks a wide open contest. KIWI SPIRIT (6) was a victim of the second-up syndrome last time out but go on the strong maiden win at Ipswich when resuming. Will be ready to peak now third-up from the spell and must be respected from the Archibald camp. Can feature in the finish. The well-related ADRANOS (1) (half to G2 winner Tiamo Grace) resumes here but has revved up for this with three recent trials and gets the deadly Gollan/Jones combination. Keep safe while fresh. GAGNANTE ENCHERE (7) got the maiden out of the way when resuming and may go right on with the job now. Can go back-to-back. Former Victorian galloper CHERISH THE DAY (11) is having her first run for the new stable but should find this easier than what she faced down south. Respect any market conifidence. RICKYTHESTEAMBOAT (2) gets Wiggins on from a low draw and a strong first-up showing would not surprise.

RACE 8 - KIWI SPIRIT (14) was a touch disappointing at the latest effort but the maiden win at Ipswich first-up was full of merit. Will be ready to peak now third run back and sharp improvement is likely. POSEIDON RULER (2) loves this distange range with three wins and five placings from just 11 attempts. Gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim and rates a major player on best form. LIMERO (5) has hit the top-four at his past seven starts and always shows up on race day. Top-three credentials. FIGHTING IDOL (1) is a three-time winner around this circuit and should be hitting the line with gusto. Cannot be discounted. ARAMINTA (17) strips fitter second-up from the spell and may earn some minor money.
