RACE 1 - THE SHARERGHINI (3) resumed in good fashion here last week when only gunned down late after setting the tempo. He'll be fitter for that effort where he jumped the race favourite and he showed good early speed there, which he'll need again this time. Can go one better with the run under his belt. LAVISH CHARM (2) has gone close in both runs this time in, getting too far back at Northam last start and hitting the line nicely, beaten 1.2L. He'll find this slightly easier as he lines up for the Fernie stable now and he draws to get his chance. OUR DESPERADO (4) finished 1.6L off the winner last start here as a $21 chance. He was strong from up on the speed there and similar tactics may be adopted today from a good gate. Can be in the finish again. LASTING LEGACIES (6) has claims as he lines up in an easier race first-up. COCOON GIRL (7) is next.

RACE 2 - RELIABLE IMAGE (7) looks poised to strike third-up into the campaign following a solid performance over the mile at Northam most recently. She now lines up for the Peter Fernie barn with some upside still up her sleeve. Needs a touch of luck but looks set to return to her best form. LINE OF THOUGHT (6) closed off nicely first-up at Bunbury and steps straight out to the mile second-up. The 4kg claim sees her get in with no weight on her back and it wouldn't surprise to see her sit closer from a better barrier today. Expecting her to be there at the finish. LENDANEAR (2) just missed over 1400m here last start when beaten 0.3L and rises back up in trip. He's 0/2 at the distance which is a niggle, though he's coming off a strong performance last start and he can feature again. QUAGMIRE (1) was rather plain fresh but he is better than that. Can bounce back. ADMIRATION BAY (8) won' t be far away.

RACE 3 - TREASURED QUEEN (7) had every chance last start when sitting on the outside of the leader and going under narrowly when tiring late in the race. She should be fitter again now and while this looks to shape similarly, the bunched finish last start has me looking elsewhere. ZING TO WIN (2) got too far back after being slowly away, finishing 1.7L off the winner in the same race as Treasured Queen. He did start favourite there however and is expected to be closer in the run this time. He can finish much closer this time. BAALBEK (5) hit the line alongside Treasured Queen and maps for a similar run this time. MUNGO JERRY (1) has claims as well coming through that same race.

RACE 4 - WEAPONS HOT (4) stuck on well from midfield to finish 1.5L off the winner over this track and trip last time out and was slowly into stride there. He'll be better for that effort and he can sit much closer today with a cleaner break and a better barrier. Can return to winning ways. TWIST OF GOLD (6) sat up on the speed from a wide gate last time out but just missed, beaten in a photo finish. The inside barrier is a big tick this time and she'll still be right down in the weights after the claim of Tsang. Can go one better now. WANNA CRACKER (3) settled last and never really featured last time out, but this sets up much better for him. The inside draw and Fiore replacing the apprentice helps his chances and an improved run is anticipated. THE LIONS' GATE (2) beat home Twist Of Gold last start in a close finish and has to be included on that performance alone. MARGOT'S BULLSEYE (7) ties in through that same race and is not to be discounted.

RACE 5 - WINEACLOCKSUMWHERE (6) just missed at this track and trip last time out when beaten in a photo finish as favourite, and the race has already produced 2 winners from 4 subsequent starters. This shapes similarly for Faithfull and there's no reason why he can't go one better. TEABISCUIT (8) disappointed last start at Bunbury but will find this much easier than his most recent assignment. The 4kg claim comes in handy and he'll carry no weight for Nettle. Can press on and will be tough to run down. KAKADU (2) drops back in trip slightly but draws a nice gate and can play a role. EEVALINA (1) can make her presence felt.

RACE 6 - FEUDING (2) got over the top from midfield to win over 1612m here a fortnight ago in good fashion under Fiore. She remains in the saddle today and while he was disappointing at this trip two back, he is a winner here previously. Maps to get every chance and can go back-to-back. PULL THE TRIGGER (8) just missed behind Feuding last start when jumping the race favourite, beaten 0.8L. While he is likely to find himself back in the run again, it looks as though he'll appreciate the rise in grade and it wouldn't surprise to see him turn the tables. KHALIDA (10) hit the line alongside Pull The Trigger last start and maps for a lovely run again. He was a $20 chance there, though he'll put himself up on the speed from the inside gate and with no weight on his back, he'll take catching. MANAVENDRA (1) will find this a lot easier than recent assignments and improvement is on the cards. DREAMTIME JEAN (6) has claims off a strong performance last start.

RACE 7 - ON JUST TERMS (4) is on the quick turnaround after going under as the race favourite last week, beaten 1.1L. She returns to the grade in which he won comfortably two back and if she can find the front again, she'll be very hard to run down. SCIENCE DEGREE (1) disappointed last start but if much better than what he showed there. Getting back up to 1200m looks a big tick for him and the claim of Riordan comes in handy as he rises in weight. Sure to put his best foot forward. NORTH FACE (3) was rather p[lain fresh but does tend to improve second-up into the campaign. He did pull up with a slight issue there however and if he can bounce back to his best form, he'll make his presence felt. I NEVER DREAMED (2) went under narrowly last time out and she can be in the finish again with the aid of an inside barrier. STRYKER'S GAL (7) is better than she showed last start and can bounce back.
