RACE 1 - The maiden babies kick us off. ROYAL PROPHECY (10) is unlucky to still be a maiden hitting the top-four in all six starts to date and strikes a very winnable contest here. Resumes but has tuned up for this with a recent easy trial and gets in well at the weights with the 2kg claim. Rates the testing material. TIMINCA (5) has been thereabouts in both runs this time in work and again gets the services of gun hoop Wiggins in the irons. Looms as the main danger. DRAGON TALES (2) didn't measure up in a richer race last time out but the two runs prior to start the career were good enough for a race like this. Top-three conveyance. MISTER TIA (3) defied expectations placing at Cairns on debut and will have derived a stack of benefit from that day at the races. In the mix. MONTANA EXPRESS (8) placed at her most recent outing here and may earn some minor money again.

RACE 2 - BIG DEMEANOR (1) is knocking on the door of a maiden victory placing at his past three outings and this is not an overly strong affair. Drawn to get across easily from gate five and will be rock-hard fit for this. Should be right there when the whips are cracking. IRISH GIFT (3) resumes here for the new stable but showed enough when last in work to warrant consideration in a race like this. Can run a race while fresh. The well-related LONGCROSS (9) (half to G3 winner and G2 placed Festival Dancer) has placed over this course and distance and draws nicely in gate three. Include in calculations. SNEAKY TAY (14) rounds out the selections.

RACE 3 - You'd love to own a stable full of gallopers like LEAN EAGLE (7) who is yet to miss the top-four in nine career outings with Wiggins being on board for all but one of those efforts. Has a win and two seconds from four attempts over this six-furlong journey and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. Looks the one they all have to run down. CHARTWELL (6) has only missed a drum once in seven spins around this circuit and rarely puts in a poor one. Has the ability to test this field. SUPER FAST (5) returned to the winners' stall over this track and trip last time out and will take a bunch of confidence from that victory. Keep very safe. TYMON (10) loves this course and distance with two wins and three seconds from just five outings. Cannot be discounted. MEMPHIS SHADOW (1) has been well in the betting in recent runs and where there's smoke there's fire.

RACE 4 - SUPER FREEZE (3) has a handy record here at this circuit with three wins and two placings from just five starts and will be high on confidence following back-to-back victories. Gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim and maps well from gate three. Rates the testing material. LADY DAMUS (4) has won three of four over this course and distance and has been racing very consistently this time in work. Hard to knock mares in form and no surprise to see her in the firing line once again. LUCKY ROLLA (7) has strung three wins together on the bounce with Meehan being on top for two of those successes. Hard to leave out. The well-related TRAPASSI (1) (half to G2 winner Beiwacht) resumes here but revved up for this with a recent trial and can run a big race while fresh.

RACE 5 - GOING NUCLEAR (1) has a strong record here on his home surface with two wins and three placings from just six starts and will be cherry-ripe now fourth-up from the break. Gets some well-needed weight off with the 2kg claim and is expected to be right there when the judge calls a halt. SUBSTANCE (6) placed here when resuming from a lengthy spell and is sure to have taken a bunch of benefit from that hit-out. Might need one more but cannot be underestimated. READ 'EM AND WEEP (5) was a touch plain here at the latest effort but the form prior was very consistent. Worth another chance. VANCOUVER BAY (3) next in line from the favourable draw.

RACE 6 - Competitive contest. READY TIGER (8) looked good saluting over this course and distance at the latest effort and winning jock Butler stays in the stirrups. Drawn to get a gun run in transit from the inside marble and can make it back-to-back victories. OUR TURN NOW (4) goes well for Wiggins who has a win and two placings from just four steers and will be rock-hard fit for this. Is usually thereabouts and rates a major contender in this line-up. MORDECAI (10) is on the doorstep of another win with four consecutive runner-up finishes and maps well from gate two. Cannot be ignored. The consistent KEEP ON RUNNING (11) has hit the top-five in 13 of his past 14 starts and is rarely far away. A must for the multiples. JOHN JOSEPH (2) is one from one over this track and trip and can fill the frame with luck in running.

RACE 7 - Impossible to knock the form of TAMBO'S JUSTICE (6) who has put five wins together to commence the career and has earned his shot at Open company now. Drawn to take up the running from gate two and gets a considerable weight drop from the last run. Can continue the picket fence. STATS (2) has won four of five over this track and trip and will be rock-hard fit for this. Rates highly on best figures. BEAU RAIN (7) is a six-time winner here who will strip fitter third-up from the break. Top-three credentials. VALENKI (5) was a touch flat last time out but the form prior was good enough to feature in this. Can bounce back. BRAVE AGENDA (10) best of the rest in an intriguing affair.

RACE 8 - Open race to close out the card. KOBAYASTAR (4) resumes here but has only missed a place once in five attempts over this track and trip and gets in light with the 2kg claim. Drawn to get a cosy run in transit from gate two and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise. THAT'S IT (5) has been just behind the placegetters at the past couple of efforts but is more than capable enough on his day. Should be at his peak now and anticipating a big run this time. SKOGAFOSS (2) has won two from three over this six-furlong journey and rarely puts in a plain performance. Include in exotics. REVOLT (1) has put a hat-trick of wins together in lesser company but will be high on confidence at present. Respect any market support. CRIMSON DECIPHER (8) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be slept on.
